    Great Read !

    This is the best book I've read in a long time. It arrived quickly, and is in like-new condition. The story is about a little girl living in Nazi Germany in the early 1940's. It is hauntingly narrated by Death, who makes frequent visits. Her relationships and losses , friends and enemies all weave together for a compelling read. I highly recommend it.

    Small town girl in Germany before WWII

    I absolutely loved this book! I read a library version firs,t then ordered this one to have in my library. My g-daughter is reading it now and she also is enthralled with it. Master piece of words that make you feel you are right there at every turn of the page.. Recommend to everyone.
