    both sides of the story-hunter and hunted!

    a change of pace from the familiar Spenser format...cutaways alternate with the investigation as Spenser tries to find the wife of a friend. Damsel in distress Lisa St.Claire(or is it?) gives us insight into her dilemma while Spenser huints for a thread in this taut thriller from the late Robert Parker. The author may be gone but Spenser lives on, bobbing and weaving all the way. a real uppercut in the series.
