Great expectations fullfilled.
I bought this book for my mother for her birthday, and the whole family loved it! We read Get Fuzzy in the newspaper and follow it through my father's tear-off calendar as well, and it is great to own a compillation of the antics of Bucky and Satchel. This is an excellent book for either dog or cat people, or just people who love animals in general, because the author (Darby Conley) truely seems to grasp the personality characteristics of cats and dogs in general and embodies them in the egotistical Bucky cat and Satchel the dog, while giving them endearing, often human-like qualities that most spoiled pets possess.I bought this book for my mother for her birthday, and the whole family loved it! I bought this book to go into my Get Fuzzy collection! Who couldn't like the infamous Bucky Katt? He is very sharp tounged & to the point! Most of us wish we could only be as truthful as he tried to be! Satchel Pooch is as loveable as ever! Ever trusting to Bucky as well as his other friends in his play group! Last but no least who can leave out Rob Wilco...the money side to Bucky's exsistence, this man has more patience than anyone should be allowed to have! Final thought....buy the book! Get Buckafied!
I was introduced to "Get Fuzzy" through my local newspaper about a year ago. I decided to buy the earlier strips to see if I might enjoy them as well. They ended up being just as funny if not funnier than the ones I had already read. Bucky Katt, Satchel Pooch and Rob Wilco feel like they are close friends if not family members now.
