  • The EMDR process changed my life

I bought this book after having had five EMDR sessions from a graduate of the Dream Institute. I purchased the book because I was so amazed at the results that I had that I felt compelled to find out how and why the process had worked. I had already done five years of traditional therapy for my PTSD, and those were horrible years where I made little headway against a lifetime of abuse. For those of you trying to overcome abuse from your parents, you know how painful this can be. My therapist recommended EMDR for me, and I found that the things that had once stopped me dead in my track, were now things that no longer affected me or my thought process. I've now been out of therapy for nine years, and I have had no need to back to deal with the feelings and emotions from my childhood. I ...

  • Great technique of new therapy for traumas

A wonderful new technique for healing traumas in the shortest time possible is the story behind this book. The author healed herself of a traumatic experience "by accident" and developed the technique to a science and has proven that the technique works! This book describes the general aspects of the technique to the laymen, and gives true examples of people who were: US Army Vietnam veterans, cases of rape, bombings and more or less severe traumatic experiences of people who were healed in a relatively short period of time (sometimes days or a few months) in a therapy which has proven itself the world over in 10's of thousands of cases and scientifically verified. It works and if you need help for a trauma you experienced I'd pick up the book and find a practicioner ASAP!
