Electrolysis Tank Power Source
I'm using mine to power my homemade electrolysis tank. The tank is used to remove rust from ferrous metals. After burning threw several other DC voltage power supplies I purchased this one from Pyramid. It has worked flawlessly while being turned on for days at a time non stop. It does not get hot to the touch and, should I ever burn this one out as well. I would purchase it again in a heartbeat, I'm using mine to power my homemade electrolysis tank. Well constructed, cabinet is vented to assist with cooling of components. The power supply is protected by a fuse. The On off switch is illuminated when in the on position. DC terminals are color coded and allow for use of "banana plugs" or for wrapping a wire around the terminal and tightening the terminal. Have not had the opportunity to check the DC with a "scope" to determine if any ripple exists. Well constructed, cabinet is vented to assist with cooling of components.
