These are exactly what I wanted. To me, 100% wool means no elastic. I wanted them for wear in bed at night. The yarn is fairly coarse and has enough body for the socks to stay on. The socks are fairly thick, so they would be a tight fit in normally fitting shoes. most boots are rather loose-fitting so these socks would be good for that use. apparently hand knit in Ukaine. Solidarity with brave Ukrainians in their struggle against Putin's criminal invaders.
