KISS...the second coming...good stuff
I bought the DVD version to replace the VHS copy that I lost in a fire years ago. I saw them front row on the tour this documents, so it brings back fond memories when I watch it. The behind the scenes stuff is cool too...watching how they got back together and everything started firing on all cylinders for them again. The concert footage is great too. It was great to see the boys back in the form of my memories as a kid in the 70s growing up listening to KISS and thinking they were the coolest guys in the world. I have been a fan for most of their 35 year existence, so seeing the guys back together doing the show almost exactly as I remembered it was incredible. I keep up with the band now more to make myself feel young again more than anything. I can pop in one of their old albums and ... Awesome! A "must have" for all Kiss fans!
I bought this DVD as I am a HUGE Kiss fan, who is very interested in the history "Kisstory" of Kiss. It gave a detailed behind-the-scenes look at the reunion of the band's original 4 members...Gene, Paul, Peter & Ace after 17 years. The DVD was great because it was essentially a documentary of that time & not just a concert DVD. The picture & sound quality were great and it was produced by one of Kiss' own crew members, Tommy Thayer, who is now the current lead guitarist for Kiss. It was NOT just some "pieced together" bootleg...It was the real thing authorized by Kiss. I loved everything about it! The only thing I was dissapointed in was that it wasn't longer! Kiss on dvd!!!
I like this because it is the original members of kiss and it replaced my vhs tape.The disc should last for years to come when the tape won't.It also shows behind the scene's of getting ready for a major tour,the practice and what it takes to put on a show like this.There's nothing better in hard rock than the original kiss.
