I purchased the Hopalong Cassidy Collection as a birthday present for my mother, who lived those days of yester~year, of Gene Autry, Lash La Rue... All 66 films are on 14 discs (DVD), over 70 hours of Western Action. and with a great special features package. The packaging was very pleasing to the eye, as a Collectable Tin (Lunch Box style). I sat down and watched the films with her, and It was especially exciting to see her transformation, as she reminisced of those days, and of how she met William Boyd, when she was a child, and other Cowboys of the time. We were very satisfied with the picture, and sound quality. Something did seem to be missing, that I recall seeing in other collections of this magnitude... Lobby Cards, Photographs, and a nice Program/booklet would have ... I purchased the Hopalong Cassidy Collection as a birthday present for my mother, who lived those days of yester~year, of Gene Autry, Lash La Rue... But, Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the product, and hope that Echoe Bridge is planning on other Collections, to include the other special cowboys of that era; such as the Singing Cowboys: Gene Autry, and Roy Rogers (Movie and Television Series). Also, Action Cowboys: Lash La Rueto, Tom Mix, The Lone Ranger, to name a few. We felt it was time well spent, and if you miss those days of yester~year, or just want to experience the feeling of true entertainment, this is an excellent choice for anyone, and everyone who can appreciate the days of the silver screen.

Ultimate Cowboy Collection!!
Saw this originally in a retail store and knew my mom would love it, but would never buy it for herself, so I ordered it for her for Christmas. Made her day seeing her favorite childhood cowboy in a huge DVD collection. The transfer to DVD is excellent, Hoppy, Gabby and Topper have never look better. The lunch box tin case that it comes in is well made, and a very cute idea. Over 70 hours of movies and bonus features. The only thing I think of that could possibly make this any better is if the movies were put into chronological order so you could see how the stories and characters grew over the years. Great Hopalong Cassidy collection
The DVDs are packaged in a classic '50's Hopalong Cassidy Lunch box style case that looks like it came right out of 1954,..Looks great!The DVDs have been digitally remastered and are about as good in audio and visual quality as what would have been experienced watching the movies in a theater when they were originally released.Having them in chronogical order would have been a plus,but doesnt detract from the enjoyment of this classic series of feature length westerns staring one of the top cowboys of the silver screen.The movies were filmed on location in the scenic Lone Pine, California area, often using Mt.Whitney as a back drop.The locations add much to the visual appeal and sense of the "old west". All the Hoppy movies in one collection.
The entire Hopalong Cassidy movie series in one package. All 66 movies packaged in a replica 1954 Hopalong lunchbox.What more could you ask for ? The movies have been released in different sets for the last few years but this is the first time all of them have been in one package. Excellent video transfer to dvd from Echo Bridge especially since some of them are nearly 75 years old. My only objection is that the movies are not listed in chronological order and the dvd's are not numbered.If you are a Hoppy fan and don't have the movies this is the one to buy. I am not going to review the movies because you probably already know how fun and entertaining they are.If you haven't seen them then treat yourself to some old time western movies where the goods guys are really good and the bad guys ...
