    Band On Fire!!!

    This is Sammy Hagar at his absolute best! Neal Schon's guitar lines were crystal clear, & they blended with Hagar's vocals so well that you'd think they had practiced/perfected the melodies over many years. In reality, the songs were so fresh/crisp, Sammy was reading the lyrics from cheat-sheets on the stage! The songlist spans classic rock genre, from the in-your-face "Top of the Rock" ("I just tell 'em to sit on this, & take a spin around!"), to the spacey metal crunch of the "Animation/Giza" trilogy, to the reflective-but-loud ballad, "Whiter Shade Of Pale". As other reviewers have noted, we all yearn for the day when either the 2nd volume from this extremely short tour gets released, or the entire MTV video makes ...

    HSAS: Through the Fire

    I had received this album when it first released in cassette tape form. It was literally worn out from playing it. I found it here on ebay and decided to buy it. If a person loves Sammy Hagar, buy it. It is a different mix of music. The different talents shine through. I love 1980's metal and I fell in love with this cd. It also has the very hard to find "Whiter Shade of Pale" on it. Sammy does a wonderful job on this song. There are some mellow chill out tunes on it as well. I would say it is very ecclectic. :)
