    Re-hash and nothing new, but hey its Jake Gyllenhaal. He's hot, movie is flat.

    Well I love sci-fi and Jake Gyllenhaal, so the combination is an automatic hit. If you like those two things, its no fail there. The problem is there's no new material, this is just an Alien movie, the characters are difficult to have any emotional connection with. The movie offers nothing new that we haven't already seen somewhere else before. I love Jake so I want all his movies, that would be the only reason to own this, it's not a horrible movie, but it is an easy to forget non-great movie. It lacked creativity. If Jake weren't in it, I'd rate it a two!

    Heads UP!!

    Wow, how many movie previews/trailers can one handle! Must of been at least 10 or more (stopped counting after 10) of these before the movie started. The movie was so lame I turned it off after several minutes of watching it. So predictable! Kind of unusual because of the really good cast. Oh well, chalk up another disaster of a movie!! Not Recommended!!

    You call this living?

    I'm old enough to have seen it all before, so I don't usually jump at scary movies. But "Life" is one creepy and suspenseful film that got me good. Maybe it's that the characters are in a confined space, and have nowhere to run. Or maybe it's the wad of animated bubble gum that's eating them from the inside out. Whatever. If you've become a bit jaded with horror flicks and think you've seen it all before, see this one. And hold on to your seat.
