    Too much swearing!

The story is great, but the taking of the Lord's name in vain really hurts it. I had to White Out tape them.

  • How a short story lead to an impulse buy

I had never heard of Kelley Armstrong or her books until I borrowed Dates from Hell from a friend so I could read Lynsay Sands and Kim Harrison for the first time. I happened to read a synopsis of some of there books in a Kerrelyn Sparks that intrigued me. Needless to say I ended up liking Lynsay and Kim but it was Kelley that took me by surprise. I read her story on a wim and found myself engrossed. I asked my friend if she had any of her books. Was going to borrow on but then I ended up playing on ebay one day. I to make a probably already long story short. I saw Bitten reasonably priced and impulsively bought it. I waited patiently for it to arrive at my door and pounced on it the night I came home and found it with my mail. I will admit I was a little disappointed at first. I ...

  • Bitten by Bitten

The first Armstrong book I'd read was No Humans Involved. Well right then and there I became a huge Kelley Armstrong fan. So I have started back at the beginnng with Bitten and I must say that it was a true delight. I loved the tit for tat between Elena and Clay, now one of my favorite couples, and the struggle Elena has wth trying to live a "normal" life while still feeling the pull of the supernatural one. The book was full of thrills and romance, lots of tension, sexual and otherwise, and lots of satisfaction on all fronts.I find Armstrong to be a mature writer and by that I mean she doesn't throw in a lot of gratuitous sex and/or violence, with an airhead for a heroine. She reminds me a lot of Laurel Hamilton in her writing style, not as hard hitting, but strong characters and plot, ...

  • BITTEN by kelley armstrong

BACK OF BOOK SAYS: ELENA MICHAELS seems like the typically strong and sexy modern woman. she lieves with her architect boyfriend writes for a popular newspaper and works out at the gym but she is also a werewolf. i think she is trying unsuccessfully to avoid the truth in the begining. I also think philip is not for her on SO many levels. but it takes her a while to figure it out. there is a good mystery, a who done it and there is also elena trying to figure out what she wants in life. this is the first book in the series. bitten and stolen are connected and should be read back to back.

  • Good read.

It's a good book. Lots of action and drama
