First, the seller was very helpful [it turns out that the Leitz Labovert has the same bayonet fitting as the Diaplan].The lamp arrived well packed and in perfect condition. It is well made and fitted perfectly [though a purchaser may have to move the plate with the bayonet, on the microscope itself, out slightly - I used a couple of tiny washers for each screw]. The light varies from soft to extremely bright.
