  • There is really nothing else like it

This astonishing European "craft of love" is about 10 ft. tall in real life; the mouse mansion is made of cardboard boxes and paper mache. There is so much detail in each of the many fascinating rooms! How did the author find or make all those things? The little mouse characters in the simple story are likely to interest adults and children alike. This book is great for playing, "I spy," which helps build/maintain observation, attention, and language skills. Get a copy of this large, slender hardcover book while you can.

  • A visual delight

This is so much more than a book to read to your children. To properly appreciate The Mouse Mansion, you have to spend a lot of time exploring the incredible detail in each picture. Karina Schaapman is a brilliant artist. I am 72, and bought this book for myself.
