A really nice quality part with everything necessary to install and convert from points to electronic ignition. I've had my 1973 Champ forklift since 1999. We fully rebuilt it just after purchase, including the 225 slant-six. It has never run better and Mopar Parts US deserves the credit for providing old school American quality for old school American products.

    Complete kit, but questionable quality.

    The ease of set up was straight forward and great. However, my ECU burned out immediately (NAPA carries a replacement for around $60) and the harness was wired incorrectly (the green/red wire you're instructed to cut was actually the negative wire to the coil). Overall I think it's a good kit, but double check your harness and pin configuration before you cut anything and be ready to spend a little extra.

    Its at least 387% beter than using contact points.

    I have converted at least 7 old cars that I have owned in the last 40 years to HEI. It just simply works better than contact points ignition. It is also basically maintenance free also and is much easier to trouble shoot if you do have problems.
