      do NOT but with out "bill of sale" from ORIGINAL owner except for hardware/parts

      NetApp is TERRIBLE to deal with and the ontap software license is on thr DRIVES/DISK TRAYS NOT THE FILER despite being tied to the FILER serial number. Even if you do get the software it is JUNK with out any licenses unless all you want to do is ping it all day long. Now if you just want the x86 (NOT x86_64!) hardware to load your own softwate and make your own filer go for it but newer x86_64 hardware exists that will run software like openfiler. all yhd card slots are pci-x by the way!
