    Neat and versatile.

    The set is just as described and very versatile. I am using it along with Tamiya 70098 universal plate set, Tamiya 70097 Twin motor gearbox and a couple of type 130 6V micro motors, instead of those 3V motors that come with 70097 set. There's an alternative to this set, the Tamiya 70108 tracked vehicle chasis, that comes with a wood base and a single motor gearbox. The 70100 set allows you a lot of configurations, with another Tamiya sets or with your own DIY sets. The hard part is the assembly of the track, but once you find out the first pair you are done.
