    Excellent story about an amazing family

    Many, many years ago, I saw this on TV. I really loved the film, and wondered if there was a book. Well, there was, and I hunted it down here on ebay. This is a really great story about a truly amazing family. I am glad I found the book!

    An Excellent Read

    Nonfiction, inspiring story of parents who instilled strong values in their six daughters. They valued an education and did what it took to get their daughters educated, that included forming a family band. The young ladies played at the Apollo in Harlem.
