The item was received ahead of time and was packaged well. The item was in a new plastic packaging and had a storage smell, but that is to be expected. All the pieces were there and it was very warm. I ordered the medium size and found the parka to be still a bit wide, especially around the chest area and the shoulder area. For reference I am 5'9, 180lbs. There is a lot of room for additional layers.
