  • Dawn of Liberty

This book is the fourth in this Michael Phillips series about how the second World War affected Christians. especially, in Germany. The series was well written, well researched and an absolute joy to read. I have now passed on the entire series to friends to enjoy with my hearty enthusiasm for the content. When all friends, who wish to, read them - the series will be donated to our church library. Thank you so much for making my favorite pastime affordable for me. The gift certificate my husband bought me for Christmas was the best gift ever.

  • Dawn of Liberty

This is book #3 of a great series. It is historical fiction, but also carries one of the best explanations and examples of what living a life devoted to God is all about. There are reference throughout the series to people who ran "underground networks" to help believers (mostly Jewish and Christian)escape regimes that would imprison or kill them. The time span is 1930s to 1990s and takes place mostly in Germany and other Eastern Bloc countries.

  • Dawn of Liberty

This is the last in a series of four. It's a fun way to read history and continues the story of the families caught in WWII. I like the depth of Christianity Phillips brings to his books.
