I felt that was a good faith effort to correct the issue, which I admit was due to my own fault not looking at the full description compared to my requirements. I elected to keep the incorrect part because the total shipping back and forth was not worth it as it was half of the cost of the drill chuck. Its called Descriptions! Received chuck is 100% genuine and as shown and described, guaranteed to fit dcd710 type 2 or type 3. If you just contact me I would exchange the part ! DCD710 3/8" drill, type1 uses 3/8-24tpi threads and dcd710 types 2 and type 3 uses 1/2-20tpi threads . Those are factory specifics from manufacturer catalog that comes with independent part number and tool model compatibility !
