Easy to use
The Truncheon is a great and easy to use PPM meter. The "Original" like mine has lower readings than the "Commercial" model that has higher reading used in hydro applications. I went ahead and swapped the stock AAA batteries with some Duracells for a bit of extra peace of mind. Worked perfectly out of the box. Already had a Guardian monitor to compare with and calibration was right on first reading. Easy to hold and use, it's great to mix your solution up with as it reads. Worth the extra bit of cost, great aesthetically made device. The Truncheon is a great and easy to use PPM meter. If your smart enough to rinse the sensor after you use it, its fool proof! I just cant believe I was dumb enough to wait this long to get one lol. This is good equipment. Very solid and no moving parts other than disassembly for cleaning and battery replacement.
