    Great Collection of Hits and Fan Favorites

    Double Platinum remastered has the hits and the fan favorites in one collection. Some of the songs are slightly revised from their original versions, to name a few: Strutter, Black Diamond, and Rock Bottom. I have always loved this album. It's a great road trip album for any KISS fan and a great way to introduce people to their music.

    Original 4 "Best Of" Compilation.

    This has been a favorite KISS album of mine since 1978 (When I was 5). I first had it on 8-Track Tape. Then, when I got my first cd player, this was the first KISS compact disc I bought. I really love the mix of this album. Most songs were definitely improved with their new arrangements--Especially "Black Diamond", "Calling Dr. Love" & "Hard Luck Woman". "Strutter'78" is cool along with the streamlined version of "Detroit Rock City". Of course, as a diehard KISS fan, there's things I wish were done with this and other 1997 remasters--the inclusion of bonus tracks. I feel to have made this collection more inclusive of stapled KISS tunes, it would had been nice if on this album the tracks "Shout it Out Loud", "Shock Me" & "I Stole Your Love" was included. Besides KISS Alive I & II, ...

    Kiss Double Platinum

    In 1978 Kiss decided to remix 21 of their greatest hits. We ended up with 20 classic songs. However several of the songs they severly botched in this compilation such as Detroit Rock City and Black Diamond. They also re-entered the studio and re-recorded one of the songs off of their first album with a more disco feel to it known as Strutter '78. It is rumored that Peter Criss did not play drums on this track but I guess we'll never know.
