    It is always nice to have the latest edition of the famous Rand McNally Road Atlas. I highly recommend going the few extra dollars and get the spiral bound version for ease of use. Larger print and symbols is a benefit as well. Atlas did arrive with slight damage to the cardboard floating page divider, see attached photo. As shipping packaging is quite substantial, I believe the atlas was shipped this way originally.

    2020 road Atlas LARGE SCALE - easier to read

    I prefer paper maps to GPS. Especially when it comes to getting off the main highways and exploring while traveling cross country. This large map book is perfect for doing just that. I also like getting a bigger view when planning a route. Those small snippets on-line just don't give one the same perspective as looking at the map of a whole state or at least half of the state. This has a spiral binding which last longer the a glued binding.

    Huge high quality complilation but best as a home reference rather than a travel companion.

    Tremendous amount of high quality maps and related information in this compilation. Huge amount of information for the price. Even so, for the kind of automotive trips I take, I'm probably better off taking detailed individual special purpose maps(contour or forest service type details) of specific areas AND one overall map, rather than taking this large a book and even so needing those supplemental maps. My strategy is to leave this book at home and to use it for planning, but to take a more space-efficient set of maps for my actual road travel. That said, my compliments on this compilation of maps and information for my reference in planning.

    Big and detailed.

    A bit big for inside a car unless you have a special place to stach it. Great on the kichen table. Plan a trip, look stuff up or just dream of different places. Good coverage of the lower half of our northern neighbor. I buy a new one every few years. Things change.
