    Best HTIB ever!

    This receiver was originally part of a giant home theater package weighing in at over 110 lbs. The sub alone is 30 lbs. The receiver is impressive by itself, 110 watts x7 plus 230 watts for the powered sub, that's 1,000 watts total. It's a clean hiss-free full fidelity sound too, with multiple inputs including three digital and one coax, but no HDMI. Compared to my old Kenwood, Sony and Pioneer receivers(all in the $200 range) the Onkyo has by far the best sound and over a dozen different surround modes. Speaker connection is easy with color coded binding posts that will accept banana plugs or bare wire. If you get this receiver used make sure the remote comes with it, you'll need it to control some of the functions. Highly recommended!

    Awesome piece of equipment.

    Love the receiver. My first was hit by lighting so I purchased a second.Its very solid and works without flaw. Has plenty of volume and with many options.

    it just dosent get any better than onkyo ive tried everything out there and for the money its just plain idiotic to buy anything else
