Power adaptor arrived with a bent pin, I sent a picture to the seller, seller issued a refund. Excellent seller, excellent at dealing with problems. Top marks.
How did it go out this way? I found if I put the broken connector into my laptop at just the right angle, it works. It is very likely the seller did test it, and it passed. No fault to the seller.
