    Quad Core +3ghz stock +unlocked multiplier +Radeon HD6 iGPU $60 = Damn GOOD deal

    Fast, cheap quad. Great iGPU saves $. Performs great for HTPCs! Decent for basic gaming/older titles. Kinda high TDP @ 100w but factor in full GPU: Pretty efficient. Decent aftermarket cooler would be wise, given output and unlocked multiplier. Upshot; Can use most AM3 coolers. Downside; FM1 socket obsolete. Still a great buy for existing FM1 devices.

    Truly a rare specimen among CPU's and AMD sockets! I love you AMD! As for Intel's Core-i series...SUCK IT!

    I have not yet installed it yet as I don't have a CPU Cooler yet, but I know that anything with more than 2 to 3 cores on a CPU is a powerful one to own and value for life! I'm no fanatic of Intel's Core-i series of processors, but I'm a loyal fanatic of their Core 2-series processors as much as I am a radical, and loyal fan of AMD and ATI... "Suck it nVidia, you Loser!" ...because I have particular tastes when it comes to CPU Manufacturers and Models and CPU series like the aforementioned love of Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad CPU's as well as their AMD equivalents! As for Video Cards and/or Video Memory... I'll ALWAYS be loyal to ATI and any other brand except the overrated nVidia, just like ASUS is as a manufacturer, I just don't see what is SO great about ASUS vs Gigabyte, Intel and ...

    Works perfectly arrived on time

    I am so happy I took a leap of faith with this cpu. After extensive research for the correct socket for my motherboard I came across this cpu. I went from a AMD A4 due core to this AMD A8 Quad core and the difference is very noticeable.

    Adding a little speed to an 8 year old mainboard

    Easy to overclock

    Minor improvement from the 3850 but still an improvement. Especially easy to overclock as it is open architecture therefor when overclocking don't have to mess with the clock speed which affects everything else in the system.
