    I bought the book for a college class that I am taking. The book is easy to read and follow. It gives good examples to use in the classroom. I would recommend this book to anyone.

    Literacy For The 21st Century by Gail E. Tompkins (2005

    This book provides a lot of info. on how children learn to read and write. There are a lot of "real life" examples and a bunch of charts that sum up the info. in the text. The only down fall about this book is that there is a lot of detailed info. because this is a detailed subject so sometimes it gets kinda boring. But over all very informative book

    This book is amazing would be benifical to any new teacher and would make for a great refference for the future. This book could also help parents understand what students are learning in class and could assist parents with helping their students

    Literacy for the 21st Century

    I purchased this book for a class. We have been looking through it and studying the materials in class. There are great examples of actual teacher's stories in the books and some effective techniques they have used in their reading classrooms.

    Required textbook that I purchased for school. The book is very well laid out and interesting, as well as easy to follow.
