    Good Reveiw for WD Passport Drives.

    I find the design of the WD Passport to be well done. While it's basically a rectangle, all of the models are the same width, This leads to ease of stacking. I'm currently looking at approx. 20 in various storage sizes. They also come in a variety of colours, which makes organizing your data by types easy (I gave up on that idea because of buying the cheapest colours on sale). The downside is that the drive itself is integrated into the control card. In other words, if the USB connection fails, then you can't just pop the drive out of the enclosure and and put it in another box. While I have yet to face this issue, I can see it become a problem after repeated use as the USB connector develops "wiggle room".

    Difficult to use

    Not easy to use. I bought this to get a back up in addition to my Norton back up, but to date I have been unable to launch a successful back up. The owners manual is in such fine print that I cannot read it even with reading glasses.

    product works just fine and arrived quickly

    Product arrived quickly and even though it was refurbished it appeared in perfectly new condition. Only thing missing was the original box. Plugged it in using the supplied USB drive and it worked immediately. I' ve now had it about a month and it is still working perfectly.
