What an amazing seller!! When they noticed I love the press kit which was very carefully packed in several layers of bubble wrap (to prevent breakage of the DVD and creasing of the folder and notes during shipment) and then shipped securely in a sturdy box. The item is exactly as described - the press kit includes a folder, production notes and film credits. The seller is excellent! A++++++++!

I ordered a total of 22 dvds from this seller, so I'm only leaving feedback in one swoop, as it was sent in one combined package. My good feedback applies to all the items, so I don't have to repeat this 22 times. All items arrived in very good condition & packaged securely. Sent in a very timely manner. Service is excellent, & I highly recommend this seller! A+++++! Thank you!

  • Liked both book and this lengthy movie.

I consider this far superior to the version with Gwyneth Paltrow. While Doran Goodwin doesn't look like Jane Austen's Emma she gives a great performance, well-supported by most of the cast. Except for the poor gal who plays Jane Fairfax, who is far from the beautiful girl of the book, and in this particular performance can neither act nor sing. Emma, her mentor and potential lover, her father and many others give fine performances.

  • One of my favorite versions of Emma

Love this production of Emma. Bought this copy since my first copy since itt got scratched. Thank you.

  • Horrible version of Emma. Jane Austen is in her coffin sick.

This was the worst version of Emma I have seen to date, in almost every way. What is with the Brits having the main female characters constantly smiling? Someone could have shot Emma's father in front of her and she would have smiled and made some supposedly clever response... AWFUL. Interminably long and they get almost to the end (and what is considered to be the climax-but in this version there is none) where Emma and her love are disclosing their true feelings for each other and they cut to her father? Really? AWFUL is not severe enough.

  • Faithful adaptation

I loved this version of Emma. The actress in the title role, Doran Goldwin, performs her role to perfection, capturing Emma's humor, stubbornness, sometimes exasperating opinions, but overall likeability. My one caveat is with captions; although listed as an option on the cover, I saw nowhere to access them. However, all the actors enunciate clearly so I had no problem understanding; bless the British for their diction! I highly recommend this particular version if you want one that closely follows the book, but if you require captions, this isn't the dvd for you.

  • Emma DVD

It's fun to watch Emma's efforts at matchmaking. She eventually finds her own match. Delightful!
