- Heavy-duty, antique, pocket door rollers made by, "F.E. Meyers & Brothers," of Ashland, Ohio. ...Heavy-duty, antique, pocket door rollers made by, "F.E. Meyers & Brothers," of Ashland, Ohio. Coincidentally, the set was also salvaged from an old barn in Ashland, Ohio. The set includes 2 cast iron rollers and 2 steel hangers.If you are unfamiliar with this type of hardware, the hangers are secured to the top of the door and then attached to the rollers (see last photo from the Meyers catalog). Once the hangers are attached, you could slide the door side to side. The wheels roll along a track and make a heavy door seem effortless to move. We do not have any tracks available, however, they are common and easy to find. These are special!There is text featured on both sides of the rollers. The sides that have half plates and wheels exposed were the sides that faced away from the door. As a result, they were exposed to weather and developed the most rust and corrosion. However, as an antique enthusiast, the pitting/corrosion is a huge plus!All parts were cleane*FULL DESCRIPTION BELOW*
