I’ve owned multiple of these items and know the terminology. They did offer a full refund to make it right , but ultimately I don’t have time for that and like I said I made it work and kept it.     Read about this doorbell in Popular Mechanics - I like everything about it so far. I thought the App could have used more explanations about settings, but once acclimated to it, it works very well.

    works great. Happy with this product. No monthly subscription, can view remotely with my smartphone app. I like it so much I have now purchased another for the rear door of house. I had to install a wi-fi extender so that the rear door could reach the wi-fi router.

    Wired Eufy Video may be a difficult install

    The WIRED version of the Eufy 2k Security Video Doorbell may be difficult to install to working order, particularly if you have an older home with electrical setup not updated. Great product when one finally get it installed!

    Works perfectly, and I'm thrilled with this purchase.

    Eufy Doorbells come with ONE chime, and there's no way to buy a second one. So if you have an out-building, like a Cabana, you won't hear the doorbell ringing. I bought this to use its chime as my second one, so when I'm in my office/cabana, I can hear when the doorbell rang. Both the doorbell, the attachment plate, and the chime were in like-new condition. I'm using the chime with my new Eufy S330 wired 2-camera doorbell. Bottom line: it works perfectly, and I'm thrilled with this purchase.
