    The Gran Turismo 5 — Collector's Edition is the 2010 installment of the highly successful racing video game series from developers Polyphony Digital. An exclusive game for the PlayStation gaming console, Gran Turismo 5 also marks the first entry of the series into online racing. Offline, the game is playable by up to 4 players, while online play allows up to 16 players. GT5 includes a number of improvements from previous installments, including real-time damage to racing vehicles, more dynamic skid marks on the tracks, the option for players to flash their headlights, weather effects on some of the tracks, and the option to create more tracks. The Gran Turismo 5 Collector's Edition has more than 1,000 car options for players, 26 different racing locations, and over 70 different racetracks.

      gran turismo 5 collector edition

      awesome game. nice improvement on most aspects but left out some great features from the gran turismo 4, more variety of cars including nascar. must have for racing fan. I am gran turismo fan but I think gran turismo have to start create some this new and exciting because I think Forza motorsport is fast approaching and it may exceeded gran turismo pretty soon with the Forza 4 release fall 2011. hoped Gran turismo can stand tall. for now, if you can tried Forza 3 you will know how good it is. good luck Gran Turismo.

      Improvement but still lacks

      This is a great improvement over the previous prologue release yet with this one you get very long load times that take away from the game itself. The main layout can be confusing at first and the music is more annoying than any previous GT game to date as far as I am concerned. There was a lot they could have worked on to make it a better game although almost every thing notably bad about prologue has been improved to some extent. This one has by far more cars tracks and events than all previous games to date. The graphics are good and they have brought back the tuning elements but I still can't get over the load times they should have worked on, I did install the game yet still find them to be pretty bad. Took two attempts at installing, be prepared to wait a while and ...

      This is the best racing game out there!!! Love it!!

      I always wanted to buy the gran turismo 5 collector's edition package but it was over $125 at the stores. I decided to look on ebay. I found it for less than half the price and bought it. I love this game. It is my favorite game. I am a huge racing simulator fan and GT5 in my opinion is the best out there. I like everything in the collector's edition. The ultimate car guide book that's included with the game will tell you a lot if not everything you need to know about cars, how they work, best ways to drive in a track, and plenty of more details. There's nothing I dislike about this game.

      Better than Any Other Game or The Best of All Time?

      Arguably the best game of all time, this is easily the best driving game of all time. While being the best simulation game ever, it is also fun. It gives you as many different ways to race and tune your cars as possible. The only thing that makes that better is having just about any car you can think of to test or race and a huge variety of different tracks. If you have ever wanted to feel what just about any car in the world feels like, including a wide variety of concepts, than you want and need this game. If you like racing games at all than this is the one game you need.
