Old favorite of ours, and a new favorite for the great-grandson
This is a timeless classic Disney movie. I love the old Disney movies much better than the new one which are all so loud and actually basted more for adults than kids. The characters are so cute and yet the story tells of the danger for the forest animals be it from man or mother nature.

Great film, package OK after Disney mistakes
Who does not love this film? Nearly 70 years old, the film is still great and beautiful. Film makers of today can take note of actually having a story for the animated animal characters instead of just moving the place they are in. Thumper is my favorite character of the film. The memorable scenes, the spoiler scene, Thumper and Bambi on the ice. The characters As for the DVD package. I have made this remark now with the 2009 Snow White and 2010 Beauty and the Beast reissues on DVD. The pushing of blu/ray the newer MORE EXPENSIVE format I hope back fires on Disney. With this Bambi release, as they did with the Snow White and Beauty and the Beast issues DISNEY RELEASED THE BLU/RAY MORE THAN A MONTH BEFORE THE REGULAR DVD PACKAGE. When I purchased, I thought I was getting a used DVD. This one was completely packaged and sealed like new. Couldn't make it any better than that! My kids LOVE Bambi.

Wonderful movie for all ages .
I remember Bambi from when I was a young girl . My children grew up watching this also. My youngest has been looking for a copy for her collection. The story is a great one and teaches though we may be different we can still be friends. There are some happy and sad moments in the movie but over all this is one of Disney's best in my opinion.
