83314 Cross Check quality is good. I used it as a visual tamper indicator on exhaust port to muffler bolts and threaded pipe connections for a 12HP Briggs riding lawn mower engine. Manufacturer's recommended max high temperature was exceeded by this application. Product maintained color (red) and physical integrity on bolts connecting exhaust adapter to engine. All other threaded connections to and on the muffler did not maintain red color (black) but did maintain decent physical integrity.
