The new motor arrived quickly, but bad weather prevented a quick install. On my first attempt to install the new motor I could not get the bolts to line up. It appears to perfectly match the old motor so maybe I did not have the gears meshed correctly. Once installed it should stop the chatter each time the steps open and close.
