    Nice 16 ft dog leash that retracts well

    So far so good. Only used on a few walks, yet it retracts smoothly. Our dog seems to go thru leashes with the inner springs breaking or she will bite the cords if she wants to get off leash. This one looks like it should last as long as others.

    Release the hounds! (Up to 16 feet, anyway)

    Just got my Taotronics retractable leash, and took my JRT for a walk to test it out. The handle assembly is made of sturdy plastic and rubber, and the brake button on top is easy to reach and operate with just a thumb. The unspool/retrieve is smooth and quiet, and the locking function works immediately when engaged. One word of caution - of you have "man hands" (Google it, kids!), you may have some issues with the handle opening. I have pretty average hands, and they JUST fit in there comfortably.

    Good price, poor quality

    I bought this for my 10 month old Golden Retriever and as she is still a puppy like is still very playful and like to bite and hold the leash in her mouth at time. Well we used it only a few times and she bit through it. Very poor quality.
