Then I noticed that the "practically new" lens was dirty and possibly damaged. After sending photos of it to a professional, they said the lens had developed fungus and is damaged. The seller agreed to take the item back but I still lost about $30 on the transaction (the seller didn't want to refund the shipping cost and I think some taxes weren't refunded). Unfortunate experience.
