Inspired by the original Dungeon Explorer on TurboGrafx-16, the PSP version features the same hack-and-slash style of play with Ad-hoc wireless support for up to four adventurers. The 3D visuals are viewed from an overhead perspective as players lead their party across various monster-filled dungeons. One of three distinct races and a choice of classes can be assigned to newly created heroes, including hunter, monk, bishop, fighter, shaman, and thief professions. By vanquishing creatures lurking within each dank and decrepit dungeon, characters will earn experience to increase stats in key areas. Over 300 equipment variations are also available, with further character customization possible through the acquisition of "ancient arts." Each art imbues party members with specific fighting skills, allowing them to become more proficient in combat. The PSP version offers more than 150 ancient arts to master as well as a scalable difficulty setting based on the number of warriors exploring each dungeon.

Dungeon Explorer:Warrior's of the Ancient Art's
This game is a great one.I only had a few minor problem's with it.One was the create a character hair's are not as good as the people in the village's (you can't change the hair's it's attached the the class you choose).The one I think is the worst was the human female fighter it looked like a nappy dryed up old mop.But there are some more dumb hair style's but that one just bugged me.Second complaint was no pause or at least I have'nt unlocked it yet.Yes you unlock pretty common thing's like menu's.Third your armor/outfit does not change look.But to the game's defense you do get to change the color of some of the armor/outfit.What I liked was that every race (3 different one's) has it's own town and story.Plus you start out ... At first my bro told me this game sucked because the perspective in the game play is birds eye view but very close and you can't see the monsters until they are attacking you, which is true so you just have to be ready. But man for a PSP game it is off the hook, you get to choose fighting classes like Diablo, and alot of other stuff is similar to diablo. You run around and have team mates that help you and battle your way through caves to other cities. There's even big ass bosses that are very cool looking and kick your butt! There grammar isn't childish, they say things like shut up and get lost, which is way better then boring old socially acceptable grammar.
