Everyone a winner!!
When I opened the package I was upset because it was not the product they had pictured! After talking with a representative, she assured me that this was a new replacement of the item in the photo. I also phoned the factory rep and was encouraged to try it before returning it! Well, they were right! The head was installed and brought up to about 90 on my drum dial and the banjo just started to bark out those fat bass notes and those mirror crackin' high notes! I did have to tweek the head every couple of days for a week until it settled in to making a banjo sound just like one that Earl would like! The music store must have decided that I liked the new head because they doubled my order along with the invoice!
