I had owned this cd years ago and it disappeared. I kept thinking it would resurface, but, like I said, years passed by. Recently, I discovered this very music on the web and thought :HEY, I really MISS this cd! And there it was on eBay! Yes! I am listening to "Something For Your Head", which is a perfect description of what this cd IS. All of the songs show a different side of Tom Jones, a playful side still full of youth and quite sexy. Having each cut produced by current aces probably had a huge contribution toward making this a cd for another, younger, generation to discover the resonance of his voice. I strongly recommend this anyone who might think the man sings only to their mothers or grandmothers. One listen to "A Girl Like You" or "Show Me" will dispel those musty ... Awesome career highlight!
One of Tom Jones's touchstone albums. If you're not familiar with him this is one to start with. It picks up where he left off covering Prince's "Kiss" in the late 80s, ranging from neo-soul to techno to Britpop.

One of Tom's best recordings....
I have had this particular release since it was first on the shelves in 1994. I needed another copy to send to my cousin, as he had not heard the songs on this particular release. That's another story. Anyhoo...I love this particular CD! It has such a wide range of music on it, from the song with Tori Amos, a heart-felt ballad with so much intense soul called "I wanna get back with you"; to the re-make of Yaz's "Situation", a funky knock your pants off dance tune. The opening is fantastic, goes right into the fantastic song "If I Only Knew" a high powered, turn the speakers up tune that is full of horns and background singers that abosolutely rock. (Seeing it live is awesome) I am a fan of alot of Mr. Jone's music but for some reason, I never get tired of this particular CD. It's ...
