  • International Edition but just as good!

This is the international edition of the text book but much better if you consider the price! The content is the same and the quality of the print is also just as good. In my opinion, it borders on criminal (unethical at the very least) that textbook publishers are allowed to charge as much as they do for books in the U.S., adding a had cover that costs them a dollar more in order to charge double the price, meanwhile they sell the soft-cover international editions in other markets and make them unavailable to students in the U.S. at the same time that they push for the unnecessary adoption of new updated editions every other year, reducing students' ability to buy/sell used copies. Do your pocket a favor and buy the international edition!

  • Great asset to my learning.

I am hoping to begin nursing school, but have little experience in chemistry. I ordered the text and use it along with Crash Course videos (youtube)

  • I did get a book

The isbn and the photo on the web depicted the textbook I needed, but the book I got was a different edition. The edition number was fine, but it was an international edition with a slightly different isbn. Luckily the instructor OK-ed the textbook. I thought I had made a mistake in going with one of the cheapest offers but I pulled through. It was a little risky.

  • Identical to the american version

This book is the same as the hardback version everyone in class has...Even the in chapter problems are identical. The only difference is the cover...And the price I saved $140.00 Ccompared to other students in my class who bought theirs at the student bookstore.. Also the book is easy to read I would say 8th grade reading/comprehension level.

  • Biological Chemistry by Karen Timberlake 10th ed.

This book was required for my Chem 120 class. It is written in a way that is not confusing to someone who knows nothing about the subject. It is easy to follow and makes sense. I recommend this book to anyone taking biological chemistry for the first time. It would be helpful to have this book as a personal reference.
