Toddler Will Have Better Hearing For This Reason
I purchased this for my grandson. I am an Audio Engineer, so my hearing is job critical. I am very concerned regarding the SPL (sound pressure level) that people and especially children have been exposed to on a daily basis. By educating young parents to this issue, we have a chance to reduce the loss of hearing that is occurring more and more in our nation. So you can imagine how pleased I was at the performance and quality build of these Snug Ear Muffs. Anytime you can drop down 10 decibels or more to anything loud, you are doing a favor to the child's hearing system, and their hearing future. If you plan to expose a toddler to any noisy event, please consider this wise purchase item. Joe Blasingame, AE &PI purchased this for my grandson. The kid keeps them on!
Biggest problem I expected in taking a 4-year-old to a race was ear damage from the noise, and the difficulty in having the child wear ear protection. Plugs would not work - too uncomfortable - so i bought these. Tried them on myself and they block out a LOT of noise. They're apparently comfortable for a child to wear, and when I pointed out the race officials wearing their headsets, the kid decided they were cool, and kept them on for the whole evening. Quality: They are well-made, and fold -up small. Horn Train
I live about three blocks from a railroad crossing. My 4 yr old granddaughter does not like loud noises of any kind! She says; " the horn train is too loud grandpa! Horn trains, car horns, motorcycles, tv and radios all make too much noise at times. Tried them on her Christmas morning and they worked. She was happy with them. So am I!
