        Great sounding strings

        I have both a Martin HD28V and a Gallagher Doc Watson and over the years I have eliminated all other manufacturers strings and love these Martin SPs. In one way it's not fair as I change strings about once per month as I love the sound of new strings on recordings and weekend gigs. You make up your own mind, but don't hesitate to try these strings if you have to be heard over a five string banjo and an expensive, loud, mandolin.

        im constantly switching between open tunings... cranked up to g,for cornell and vetter...steven stills e, dave mason open e, dropped way down to jimmy page open d and c. these strings sound great, are a good value and take some serious abuse.
