I’ve restored , or tried to, numerous old and/or rusty tools using every conceivable concoction there is. Vinegar, Coke, various chemicals and top rated commercial wonder chemicals. Everything except your great aunt Tilly’s chicken soup. I first tried it on a couple pairs of USA made Vise-Grips that were misplaced 5 yr ago and were recently found with rust pitting. Soaked 3 hour and rust is gone. Im cleaning machinist tools circa 1930s👍🏻
