      My small wonder.

      I've tried other more expensive extenders that did not perform like this one. I have my entire "Google Home" network set up through this connection. Connected properly this will get the job done. I have 8 smart lights, 2 cameras, 1 hub, 3 speakers and 1 laptop connected through my Google Home set up. Before connecting this to my Wifi network, I was having lots of connectivity issues. This has solved MOST of them. Additionally, I also use this to connect my Magic Jack phone line, since there is an Ethernet port on it. But Make sure when you set it up, you are near the original Router. After the set up you can connect it in the room of your choice. For the price of $12.99 that I paid, this has worked way better than the 3 more expensive range extenders that I bought at Best buy and ...

      Runs HOT, unstable, no freeware updates, no tech support.

      It is runs hot and unstable. Ones WIFI configuration changes to connect to different access point on same network, it looses static IP configuration. As result - connect to its management UI becoming a challenge. Was looking for newer firmware which may have latest fixes, but even manufacturer's site can't be found.

      Looses IP configuration

      Item is very unstable, looses static IP configuration regularly after 5-10 min working time though signal is good, showing "no internet" though there is a clear connection coming from the router... Made more work with reconnecting. Returned it. Maybe works OK for less distance to router.

      Medium setup difficulty, great signal

      A little hard to hook up as i tried with my phone, got it to work after messing with it for a little bit. Need to use the ap.setup as the other way would not work using 198.168.10.1, is in manual. Strong signal, very happy with it.
