I wont buy from this seller again. The shipping took forever. The only way i could communicate with this seller was look up their shop and send a message that way. I had packages from China at the local post office around the same time i got this. I started leaving messages like ..ship it today or cancel!! It was terrible. I can't rate the quality, effectiveness, efficiency of this product specifically since I am unable to assess a measurable difference as a result of taking this supplement. I can say that this supplement is small which gives it a favorable, easy to swallow product feature. The cost of this supplement is higher than average daily vitamin or generic brand. I cannot honestly recommend astaxanthin or this particular brand except I read that this supplement is beneficial for eye health. I can't rate the quality, effectiveness, efficiency of this product specifically since I am unable to assess a measurable difference as a result of taking this supplement. Value verses performance came up a little short or maybe my expectations were too high. I believe it helped, but not to the extent that I anticipated based upon reviews. I would not discourage anyone from giving it a trial, but for me, I will continue my search for a product that works a little better for me. I tried it for 50 days so I believe I gave it a fair trial.

I began using Astaxanthin a few years ago based on an article I read. I used to struggle with lots of neck pain. The article stated that it takes around 8 weeks for any benefits to be realized. I swear by it now. The neck pain rarely occurs. There are also other benefits, such as skin tone. 12mg per day, and only use Bioastin. I tried other less expensive brands and the pain returned. I LOVE NUTREX BIOASTIN, HAWIIAN ASTAXANTHIN.
For me, it has more than lived up to the benefits touted in the product descriptions and I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS ASTAXANTHIN PRODUCT FROM NUTREX. I pray that this product will soon be researched as an effective deterrent to some of the side effects of radiation and chemo therapies because I'm absolutely convinced that it helped minimize radiation burns and some of the side effects of the chemo for me although I did lose my hair but my vision continued to improve. I am out of the tri-focals and doing great with 125 Readers. Has taken about 3 years of THIS Astaxanthin augmented with 40mg Lutien daily but I'm finally free of the tri-focals. I didn't have to undergo surgery and no more expensive glasses! Optometrist is amazed! I love being able to amaze doctors and, so far, I'm 3 ... I only use astaxanthin produced in Hawaii after researching the nutrient and company's production methods in depth. It's the only nutrient I use that presents so overtly on what it says it will do. Pain disappears, vision improves dramatically and if given to pets, especially in senior pets, it reverses their activity level practically to that of puppyhood.
