GREAT 18 TOP HITS SELECTION CD!:)
Anyone who grew up with or was born with a DEEP appreciation for the works of Michael Jackson, BUT does NOT have the time or cash to hunt down ALL of his music; this CD has all the GREAT BASIC SONGS of his career...I purchased it because I grew up with michael Jackson music, and as a fan then....I just always thought that he would live as long as I would... You do not always run out and buy music, and when I was growing up it was 45's that dominated, so i did have ALL the great Motown singles...but not any of his Solo works EXCEPT "THRILLER"! After the SUDDEN LOSS of Michael Jackson( which for his fans is a day you remember, and will continue to remember where and when, Just as with my generations loss of John Lennon) I REALLY wanted some of the HITS that started, and ... Michael Jackson IS THE BEST
I have always liked Michael Jackson and his incredible abilities on stage and vocally. With his death I feel a great loss and wonder what could have been. I decided to buy this CD because I wanted to have all of his best, my favorites, all in one place. Although I do not really like the live version of BEN it is, afterall, Michael and one of his first big hits without the other 4 guys. I am sad at his loss but I am trying to get past that feeling. If a CD can wear out I think it will be this one. Michael has left us a wonderful catalog of great music. I hope that someone does a DVD compilation of his videos. I will be first in line to buy it.
