Outstanding quality and well built dreadnought acoustic at very good price point
This is an outstanding example of a well designed, well built, no frills acoustic dreadnought. At the price point it retails at, it is a great value. Mine came to me used in excellent structural and cosmetic shape. It has a gritty low end, clear mid range and sparkly trebles. It is very playable, up and down the neck, and mine came with perfectly set action and neck relief. There is plenty of room on the saddle, should I ever need to lower the action. I like the understated, satin finish much better than the heavily lacquered ones that seem to be the norm. And I actually prefer its unbound fret board. Not sure how it stacks up to other dreadnoughts, size-wise, but this feels easier to hold and get your right arm around, compared to another I owned previously. I did swap out the ... Great value!
For a beginner, this is an outstanding value. Does it have the tone of more expensive guitars? No. But it is more than worth the money you're spending on it. I'd definitely recommend it for a beginner guitarist. Out of the box it is very easy to play, unlike most guitars in this price range.

They need to be set up correctly
I was actually sent a AD60CE instead of the 30 but the first problem pertains to both models. The front button where your strap attaches to is located dead center of the guitar just under the neck. this makes for a horrible place to attach the strap as it came off on me a few times while playing and I nearly dropped the guitar. I had to relocate it to a position on the side of the neck and so far that is working. 2nd problem was in about 2 weeks, the guitar had a few buzzing frets so those needed to be worked over and the neck rod adjusted. This had to be NOS (new old stock) as these were made about 10 years ago. Because of no maintenance and being in a box for years, the interior wood was extremely dry and the guitar had to be "hydrated". The tone of the guitar is now very nice and I ...
