Manage and edit your pictures on the three-inch LCD screen or switch to video mode to capture high-quality 720p HD video on the Nikon COOLPIX camera. This point-and-shoot Nikon camera also comes with Best Shot selector feature that ensures your images and video are professional quality. There is a total of 18 unique and captivating scene modes that you can use with this Nikon COOLPIX camera. These scenes give you full control over how each photo looks, including such mode types as Sunset and Snow. By using the scene auto selector, this COOLPIX model will automatically select the best mode for each shooting situation. With the EN-EL 19 rechargeable battery as an included accessory, you can snap up to 250 pictures or hours of video before needing to recharge the Nikon COOLPIX device. When you wish to focus on an object in the frame, a useful Autofocus mode is included.     Lens cover

    I bought this camera because I had one for several years and was very satisfied with all the features and the quality of the pictures. Eventually the automatic lens cover wouldn't open so I bought this one and I noticed that the automatic lens cover on the new camera sometimes does not close completely. The camera is still a great bargain and I recommend it.

    The camera came without a memory card, so I will have to purchase one before I can find out whether the video portion actually works and if it does how well it performs. Also the camera came without a manual which would have been nice,

    A great and easy to use camera from Nikon

    I've had this model for years and I finally had to replace it. It lasted a long time. It's so easy to use and so small that it fits in my pocket. The zoom is a great distance for scenery photos. I especially like how easy it is to transfer my photos from the camera to my computer.
