In Barbie's first movie, she comes to life as both Clara and the Sugarplum Fairy, in the Christmas tale THE NUTCRACKER. This beautiful and inspirational film tells the story using extremely life-like CGI animation. Barbie and her animated co-stars dance beautifully to choreography by the New York City Ballet's Peter Martins and music by the London Symphony Orchestra. Then, Barbie comes to life in a fully-animated feature film based on the beloved fairy tale about a long-haired princess locked away in a tower. RAPUNZEL's detailed computer graphics are sure to thrill children of all ages. Featured are the voices of actress Angelica Huston (THE GRIFTERS) and singer Samantha Mumba. The perennial favorite, SWAN LAKE, is retold with Barbie in the lead role, and features the voices of Kelsey Grammer (FRASIER) and Maggie Wheeler (FRIENDS). Finally, Barbie appears in her first singing role as both THE PRINCESS AND THE PAUPER. Barbie's twist on Mark Twain's tale delivers the message that "every person has a gift and in that gift lies his or her destiny."

    Good collection of movies for young girls 4-10 yrs old

    For a collection of 4 Barbie DVDs, I think this is an excellent group of movies for young girls. My daughter is 4 years old and she liked them , although she found them a little long. I would recommend these for ages ranging from 4 to 10 yrs old. The quality of the DVD itself is good. The movies are pretty good too. It does not appear to be a cheap copy or import either. All that is included with the DVDs are the cases and an insert page which is nothing more than a table of contents. But I thought it was a great deal and made a wonderful gift.

    Great product. A must for young girls.

    My four year old daughter has always liked Barbie movies. While looking for a collection I found this collection. This was sealed in the box and brand new. Since Christmas my daughter has watched these movies over and over again. This is the same collection that I would have paid double for in a department store. A wonderful investment.

    Barbie collection movies

    My daughter absolutely love it, it has the first three movies from Barbie and all are really great. This is one of the best gifts I could ever give to my kid, she never gets tired of watching them over and over. Great selection.
